Organize in a way you can actually sustain so you'll never lose your keys, misplace a phone number, or double book yourself ever again.

My mother always said that she was a filer and I was a piler. I could list a number of things describing her level of "type A" organization but let's just suffice it to say the woman had her dinner recipes set on an automatic three month rotating schedule with auto-generating grocery lists sorted by aisle. Yeah...

I cannot tell you the number of times I begged her to come over and help me organize my life. This inevitably was followed by a lecture on my irresponsibility that continued throughout her organizational process. Once she was done and I was up to sub par level of her crazy standards, I could never maintain it. Eventually I came to realize it was simply because I wasn't her... like not at all her. I like to be creative and spontaneous and type A organization just doesn't work for creative people... for Real Estate people.

I worked hard at trying out different systems. I failed at most of them but I learned what things I liked to do and what things I didn't, along with what things actually worked for me and what things I failed miserably at trying to keep up with. As technology improved, so did my techniques and eventually I heard the words, "Wow! Angela I don't know how you do it... I wish I was even half as organized as you are!".

Whoa! How did THAT happen??

It took years of being committed to finally achieving organization that did it. Now I'm sharing that experience and knowledge with you so you too can hear those same happy (albeit unbelievable!) words. I am telling YOU right now that you can be organized. Like truly organized where everyone thinks you have it all together. You always know where your keys and phone are. You never double-book yourself and always arrive early. Your car and house are always clean, like guest-ready clean. Every morning, you are up early and dressed, ready to leave the house at a moment's notice.

Seriously... If I can do it... so can you!

About Master Agent Life

I'm going to tell you a little story...

A very long time ago... back when MLS was in DOS, had no pictures, and we printed out listings with dot matrix printers, I decided to become a real estate agent. I hated the idea of committing myself to be anywhere at 8am in the morning 5 days per week and sitting at a desk doing the same boring thing day after day, so real estate sounded like the perfect career. I was married but didn't have kids yet and there was very little in the way of training other than being someone's assistant before going it on your own (which is exactly what I did!). When I became an agent, I loved how every day was different, every client came with a new challenge, and the office never really had people in it before 10am. I could come and go as I liked, work from home if the mood struck me, and everyone in the office was just as thrilled by the steady stream of chaos as I was. At the time, I didn't realize how similar we all were. I didn't realize the issues we all suffered with were so very much alike and that this was exactly what attracted us to real estate to begin with. That didn't happen until after the babies came into my life...

Fast forward a few years... I now had two kids, my marriage was failing, my house was a mess ALL THE TIME. My car... I don't even want to tell you how messy it was. I wasn't sleeping very well and I was struggling with regular anxiety attacks. Life didn't feel good and I didn't feel good. I just felt like I was always rushing to do this or that, always running late, never had time to just sit and breathe and I just couldn't keep up. I was always stressed out and was steadily gaining weight. I realized that my life needed to change but I didn't know what to do. I felt stuck. I didn't even really know what the problem was... just that everything around me was constant chaos and I couldn't take it anymore... I was slipping into depression and not working very much. In fact, weeks would go by where I wasn't working at all.

It didn't happen right away. It took a long time but I didn't have anyone to go to... no one who really understood. I tried lots of different things along the way- therapists, doctors, diets, books on productivity, motivation, organization, time management, marriage, parenting, and spirituality. I became intensely interested in psychology and made "being happy" my ultimate goal. I played with different systems, tried on new perspectives, and eventually found what felt good for me. My life turned around and so did my business. I felt good and I lost the extra weight... I became organized, my house and car were clean and stayed that way. I divorced my husband after realizing he and I were just not right for each other and while that wasn't easy, it was the right decision for both of us and my anxiety and depression slowly disappeared.

Eventually I became a productivity coach to other real estate agents. It was then that I realized the agents I coached were all facing the same problems I had faced. Many were struggling with life issues dragging them down and all derived from their innate attraction to chaos and need to help others... the very thing that attracted them to real estate to begin with. They didn't know how to stop until stopping was the ONLY thing they did. Many agents reached out to me to help them get their business off the ground again when what they really needed was a complete life overhaul. Nothing would work for them UNTIL I got brave enough to start asking the questions they really needed asked- deeply personal questions about their life, their relationships, their health... everything a "productivity coach" wasn't supposed to touch. That was when I really started to make a difference and when I found my purpose.

Master Agent Life is the culmination of everything I learned as a real estate agent and everything I learned trying to become the best version of me: mentally, physically, and spiritually. My goal is to reach as many agents as possible, share with them what I know and work with them so they can attain the level of happiness I have now, both in my life and in my business. If you're reading this, you probably know what it feels like to be stuck and to not have anyone who really understands all of it. A productivity coach may be able to help your business, a doctor may help you with high blood pressure, and a therapist may help you with anxiety and depression but none of them deal with the root of the issue or tackle the entire problem. That is left up to you and until now, you probably haven't spoken to one person who really knew what it felt like to be you. Until now...
